Looking for energetic and innovative aerospace engineers to support our
expanding efforts in both manned and unmanned Intelligence, Surveillance and
Reconnaissance Systems. BS in aerospace engineering required.
Must have at least 5 years of experience. Experience in 3-D CAD tools required,
SOLID WORKS preferred.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Candidates will have strong knowledge and practical experience in aircraft
operations, dynamics, and controls; familiarity with MATLAB, Solidworks;
experience with 3D CAD/CAM tools is a must.
Modeling of flexible dynamics (NASTRAN) exposure preferred.
Candidate must have complete familiarity with typical aerospace program design,
system integration, produciability, maintainability, stress analysis
requirements and procedures.
Candidate must be able to conduct stress analysis on metallic and composite
structures.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace, desired.
A background in aircraft structural analysis (metallic and composite), static
and fatigue testing requirements and analysis, and finite element modeling
(FEM) is desired.
Must be capable of applying knowledge toward solving problems of a research
nature, and be capable of working alone or with a technical team in a fast
paced rapidly changing environment where quick reaction capability (QRC) and
rapid prototyping is the norm.
Must have at least five years experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD/US Government Security Clearance.
Experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis
(FEA) highly desirable. Experience with unmanned air vehicles a plus.
