Summary: Experienced Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer with 5+ years of design, installation, and maintenance experience with instrumentation and control systems in bulk chemicals processing plant, refinery or related industries
Job Responsibilities
Lead instrumentation and control systems scope through FEL
activities for selected projects and oversee production design through
project execution
Ensure 10,000% compliance with focus on Legal, EHS and business impact risk
Review accuracy, completeness, and quality of technical information and design documentation
Develop and apply project specific instrumentation and control systems
design documentation such as design requirements, design descriptions,
functional specifications, and technical specifications
Perform and/or review calculations, drawings and specifications for instrumentation and control systems engineering deliverables
Manage and audit design contractor
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
5+ years instrumentation and control systems experience
Working knowledge of technology package development, business planning, and project planning
Working knowledge of IEC 61511 and experience with associated lifecycle design
Knowledge of detailed instrumentation production engineering,
construction, commissioning, start-up and all aspects of
instrumentation and control systems engineering activities
Preferred
Professional Engineering license (PE) for the State of Texas
Knowledge of adiponitrile (ADN), hexamethylene diamine (HMD), and nylon 6, 6 polymer processes
Experience in the design and application of Advance Process Control systems
Experience with the specification and operation of process analyzers
