Responsibilities:

• Project engineering of marine electrical power plants & drives systems on vessels and drilling rigs together with the project team.
• Manage engineering schedule together with Project Manager.
• Manage technical communication with the customer and suppliers.
• Assist Project Manager to obtain necessary services, materials and equipment from internal and external suppliers on a timely and cost effective manner.
• Collaborate seamlessly with the fellow members in Sales, Project, Commissioning and Site Management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• More than 5 years' experience in design/engineering/implementing of similar electrical power plant and drives systems.
• Experience in the relevant applications is preferred (Marine electrical power systems /AC drilling system).
• Good communication skill.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Define and document the Electrical Engineering requirements and specifications
for Input/Output's Next Generation Marine Date Acquisition System (NG MDAS)
towed marine streamer components including: Shipboard Recording System,
Streamer Electronics, Streamer Sections (towed array), and all Ancillary
Hardware. Review EE designs from outsource partners. Support outsource partner
EE development efforts.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Ability to travel overnight to development partner facilities. Individual must
be self-managed and able to function effectively as part of a small development
team. Superior communication and interpersonal skills. Candidate must be able
to occasionally work in the field, including riding seismic vessels. Must have
Electronics and Design experience with EE degree

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
5 years minimum EE (electronics) design experience, preferably in marine
environment. 5 years Engineering Project Management experience. Experience with
system design and architecture (HW/SW). Experience translating requirements
into design specifications. Experience managing outsourced engineering
projects.
